Here at Daisy Baby, we can’t stop talking about just how fantastic our baby bean bags are! They have so many benefits, both for your baby’s health and comfort as well as everyday life and travel. In today’s blog, we’ll be looking at these benefits.

Each baby bean bag is wonderfully soft and this helps to prevent a condition known as Flat Head Syndrome in babies. This syndrome is caused when babies spend too long in car seats, prams or pushchairs for too long. The weight of their head resting on a hard surface causes the back of the skull to become deformed which them leads on to many other health problems if not treated. Because the bean bag is so soft, it moulds around your baby’s head and will prevent this from happening.

The bean bag seat comes with a harness which ensures that younger babies are kept securely on the seat. I know that a lot of parents will leave their babies in car seats or pushchairs when at friends or relative’s homes as this keeps them safely in once place. As mentioned before, this isn’t ideal so the bean bag is the perfect alternative, especially as it's so easy to transport from place to place.

To ensure that each baby bean bag will last, they have two upper covers. One has the harness attached to it, for use when your baby is younger. Then, the other upper cover is plain, which is ideal for older babies, toddlers and children up to 5 years old. How many other baby seats do you know of that will last that long?

In order to save you money, our baby bean bags are supplied to you unfilled. By purchasing the filling yourself from a craft shop or haberdashers, this actually works out cheaper than buying a bean bag that has already been filled. Not to mention that is also makes shipping the bean bag to you much cheaper!

Head on over to the Daisy Baby store to take a look at our range of baby bean bags for yourself. We’re regularly adding new colours and styles, so we’re sure that you’ll easily be able to find the perfect one for your children.

We’d love to hear from anyone who’s been using one of our baby bean bags or anyone who has any questions about them. Simply leave a comment below or chat to us on Facebook, Twitter or Google+ and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!
